I've been busy creating but it's been a while since I last posted and wanted to share a little something I worked on today.
Recently, I purchased a graphic set, Mermaid in Love, from The Hungry JPEG. It includes several mermaids, dolphins, a whale, fish, a turtle and several different seashells. I also used a couple of backgrounds from other sets, the watercolor and glitter patterns.
Not sure what arrangement I would create, I let the individual graphics guide me. I had two mermaids on my screen but I struggled to bring them together. It wasn't until I saw the scalloped seashell that I knew exactly what I'd do. From there, it was a matter of finding a water background and something to represent the sand. I used a watercolor pattern in blues and green for the water and a glitter pattern for the sand. Perfect!
All that was left was to print my design out using my Sawgrass SG800 and heat press it on the travel pillow cover. The colors turned out amazing and I couldn't be more pleased! I'm sending the pillow and cover to my granddaughter. She can use it to prop her head up while she reads!
That's it for now! Til next time, Keep Krafting!
